You are in for a magical evening at Disney Boardwalk.The charming waterfront Boardwalk offers a plethora of dining, shopping and entertainment options. There is so much to see, keep your eyes open for all entertainment possibilities.
A Night of Fun and Entertainment
As the sun sets over Disney World, the Boardwalk comes alive with twinkling lights, street performers and live music. You become immersed in the exciting and entertaining environment, which delights everyone!
Getting to Disney World Boardwalk is Easy
The Boardwalk is easily accessible by water taxi, Uber, Minnie Van, or the Skyliner – which is our personal favorite. Water taxi and Skyliner transportation are available from certain resorts but not all them.
Fun Way to get to Boardwalk
We think the best transportation is the Skyliner, which we took from the Rivera Resort to the Epcot drop off and walked over the bridge to the Boardwalk. It was such a fun and unique way to get around Disney World and we highly recommend it.
Time to Arrive
Just coming for the evening activities show up around 5PM to grab dinner from one of them many quick service gran and go places to eat and the festivities start around 6:30pm.
Picturesque Views
Take a stroll around Disney Boardwalk and take in the sights of Crescent Lake and the buildings reminiscent of Atlantic City and Virginia Beach Boardwalk. It is truly a fun-filled sight and you can just walk around and join in where you would like to.
Enjoy the Moment
The wooden pathway and the water together gives the feeling of calm. I love walking on the boardwalk, taking in the atmosphere and seeing all it has to offer. My favorite is when it gets dark and the lights are all on and everything seems magical!

Juggling Jacks: A mom and Daughter Juggling Team
You will be truly amazed by the incredible skill of this dynamic duo! They juggle while balancing on unicycles and perform other amazing tricks.
Watch acrobatics and Gymnastics with a twist
Seriously prepare for jaw dropping acrobatic and gymnastic acts on the Disney World Boardwalk. These performers with delight you with their unique big flying twists and turns.
The Jump Rope Extraordinaire
Watch the jump rope artist create mesmerizing performance with lighted jump ropes and unbelievable gymnastic skills
A Heart of Gold: The Kindness of a Performer
This kind-hearted individual went above and beyond by staying after his performance to interact and teach children with special needs how to jump rope. We tried to tip him and he refused saying he wanted to see the children smile.
There are games to play and stuffed animals to win
Here you find a carnival-like atmosphere just like at a traditional carnival. Try your hands at basketball toss and walk away with a Mickey Mouse stuffed animal!
Surrey Rentals
If you are looking to explore the Boardwalk in a unique way try renting a surrey that an hold up to 10 people. Peddle around the lake and make bets if you are going to make it up the hill or get out and walk the bike!
Ring the Bell to let people know you are approaching. Or if you are like most just ring the bell for fun! It's a hilarious experience that had us all ringing the bell and laughing until our sides hurt.
Scooters/Wheelchair Rentals
You can rent mobility aids and strollers right there in the middle of the Boardwalk, which is directly in front of The Boardwalk Resort.
Outdoor Movies
There are nightly movies shown on the grass in front of the Boardwalk Resort in the middle of the Boardwalk.

Whether you're looking for a sit-down dinner, a quick snack, or a refreshing drink, dessert, the Boardwalk has something for everyone.

Grab a take-out or pizza, or a deli sandwich and sit outside by the water to watch the performances, or head to one of the sit down restaurants for a formal meal.

Dine at the waterfront tables
The times we went to go to the Boardwalk without reservations for signature restaurants we grab pizza, a deli sandwich or something from the to-go Cart Food Trucks and enjoy the outside view of the water and the Atlantic City like Boardwalk atmosphere.
Sit down Restaurants
They are all good but my favorite does need reservations as it is a signature restaurant as it receives 5 stars constantly when reviewed. My favorite is the Filet with Lobster add on!
Hidden Gem
Dont miss the AbracadaBar. This quiet, quaint small lounge lends to a magician-themed bar with a few appetizers. I love sitting in here and trying their many exquisite cocktails.
Highlights if you are over 21
And if you're over 21 and looking for lively entertaining fun night life, be sure to check out the Atlantic City Dance Hall, Jell Rolls Dueling Piano Bar. If you are seeking a quiet quaint atmosphere with elaborate mixed cocktails then head to the hidden gem of AbraCadabra for some over 21 years of age fun!
Watch the Epcot Fireworks for free
The Bridge you walk over is a great place to view the nightly fireworks show from Epcot for free! Bring a blanket, folding chair, snacks, beverage and enjoy!
